Why Pet Zympatico (Pet Zim-patty-co)
OK, Zympatico is a ‘made-up’ word and a bit of a tongue-twister for some but we like it! Inspiration was the Italian word for sympathy – simpatico. Conveying a message of being in tune with all pets' needs and striving to satisfy them in a stylish way is what Pet Zympatico is all about.
Australian owned and operated
Pet Zympatico was born out of a desire to design and create a range of pet beds and dog apparel of superior quality and design under the Pet Zympatico designer label. Being Sydney-based and 100% Australian owned and operated means Pet Zympatico is well placed to service our customers' pet care needs throughout Australia.
We make when you order
As a 'boutique manufacturer' Pet Zympatico does not hold vast amounts of cheap imported goods. Your pet bed and apparel orders will most likely be made for you once your order is received. This allows us some flexibility to make alterations to our designs to suit the specific needs of our customers.
Because we make when you order, sometimes it takes us a little longer to send your goods to you than with some other online pet stores. At busy times this may be up to two weeks but our customers assure us it is worth the wait.
Our beds
The designs of our Loungers, Igloos and Pillboxes are exclusive to us. Depending on the style, we use quality faux fur fabrics in both long and short pile, Sherpa pile with a real lambswool fleece feel, thick and cosy anti-pill polar fleece, cotton corduroys, ginghams and other knits and prints. Quality trims such as cords, ribbons, lace and diamante buckles on some designs add the unique and distinctive touch while the padded foam bases and generously stuffed cushions create beds that both dogs and cats love to sleep in.
Our Dog Apparel
All designs carrying our label are exclusive to Pet Zympatico. We offer classic and fun designs, all fully lined, using many of the same fabrics used in the bed range. Attention to details such as top stitching, strong velcro fastenings, quality studs and fashionable buttons, braid and lace trims make these garments both fun to wear and durable. Most styles are machine washable!
Our Online Store
Along with our own designer label products we also offer a range of pet accessories from other quality manufacturers and suppliers such as Doggles, Happy Yappers, Mikmac and Aristopet. These include dog coats, fashion harnesses, dog collars, dog leads, pet carriers, dinnerware, health care products, cat and dog toys, gourmet treats and beautiful dog and cat charms, bows, and bling.
The feline team
Yes, I confess the household is dog-free! The cats just won't hear of any canine additions. Nevertheless, the furry four are just as diligent in quality testing new dog bed designs for comfort and durability as they are in testing cat beds.
Social Responsibility
At Pet Zympatico we support responsible pet ownership and agree that education of the pet-owning public is necessary and commendable means of achieving more public awareness of the needs of the animals we choose to keep as pets. We also recognise that the Pet Industry has an important role to play in this regard and wherever possible we support those organisations committed to improving the comfort and care of our pets as well as assisting pet rescue organisations in their work in finding dogs and cats new homes.
